The schedule

Assigned watering days apply year round in the Truckee Meadows:

Even numbered addresses: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Odd numbered addresses: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
Nobody waters on Mondays
Nobody waters between 11:00am and 7:00pm

Programming it right

Set start times early in the morning, split long run times into cycles so clay soil can absorb water, and adjust seasonally. A smart controller adjusts run times with the weather instead of running the same schedule in May and August.
