Irrigation Services We Provide

  • New system installation

Zones designed so plants with the same water needs run together.

  • Repairs and leak diagnosis

Broken heads, cracked lines, stuck valves, wire faults, and hidden leaks.

  • Drip conversion

Moving beds off overhead spray onto emitters at the root zone.

  • Winterization and spring startup

Blowing lines out before the freeze, then a head by head check in spring.

Design Options

We map zones to plant type and sun exposure, then pick the right heads and emitters: rotors for larger turf areas, spray heads for smaller ones, and drip for beds and planters. Smart controllers adjust run times with the weather instead of running the same schedule all season.

Timeline

Most residential systems install in one to three days depending on zone count and access. Repairs are usually same visit once we have diagnosed the problem. You get a written estimate before we start.

Care And Maintenance

Winterize before the first hard freeze, because water left in the lines splits pipe and costs far more than the blowout. Beyond that, expect a spring startup check and occasional nozzle cleaning, since mineral buildup clogs emitters over time.

See The Difference

New systems, zone rebuilds, leak repairs, and drip conversions.

“I had a rather small project for a retaining wall, and Perez Landscaping was perfect for the task. Ramiro the owner answered my request on Sunday, came out to scope the project on Monday, and had it done by Wednesday!”

Irrigation Systems FAQs

What days can I water in Reno?

Even numbered addresses water Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Odd numbered addresses water Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Nobody waters Mondays, or between 11:00am and 7:00pm. We program your controller to match.

How do I know if I have a leak?

A bill that jumped without a change in habits, one area that stays wet, a zone with weak pressure, or water running when nothing is scheduled.

When should I winterize?

Before the first hard freeze, usually October into early November.

Is a smart controller worth it?

For most properties, yes. It adjusts to the weather instead of running the same schedule in May and August. It will not fix badly designed zones, though.

Can you repair a system you did not install?

Yes, we do it regularly. After 35 years working here, we are familiar with most of the systems around Reno.
